President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Tuesday evening returned to Abuja from Paris, ending his annual working vacation ahead of schedule.

His arrival at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport around 6:50 p.m. was confirmed by his Special Assistant on Social Media, Dada Olusegun, via his verified X handle, @DOlusegun.

The President was received by Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila, and Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule.

Tinubu departed Nigeria on September 4 for his annual leave, initially planning to spend time in France and the United Kingdom. While in Paris, he balanced rest with diplomatic engagements, including a private luncheon with French President Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace, where both leaders reaffirmed commitments to strengthen cooperation in security, trade, and global stability.

During his stay abroad, the President remained actively involved in national matters, issuing directives on food security, engaging with citizens through symbolic messages, and extending goodwill to eminent Nigerians despite being away.
