President Bola Tinubu has resolutely reaffirmed his administration’s unwavering dedication to forging substantial opportunities for the youth of Nigeria.

Telescope.ng reports that Tinubu made this known on Sunday, August 12, while marking the occasion of the 2023 International Youth Day (IYD).

He emphasizes a holistic approach encompassing job generation, educational advancement, skill honing, digital innovation, financial technology, and active youth involvement in governance.

In a statement issued by Ajuri Ngelale, special adviser to the president (Media & Publicity), the president underscores that empowering the younger generation is a fundamental cornerstone underpinning the ongoing reforms spanning various sectors.

These reforms collectively aspire to cultivate an environment fostering the prosperity and active contribution of Nigerian youths towards the nation’s advancement.

Acknowledging the burgeoning influence and impact of tech-savvy Nigerian youths on the global stage, President Tinubu pledges to fulfill his campaign promise of creating one million new jobs in the digital economy. This commitment is poised not only to uplift the youth but also to bolster the broader national economic landscape.
