Breaking: Tinubu resumes work at Aso Villa office, holds crucial meetings

President Bola Tinubu wasted no time in assuming his duties as he arrived at his office in the Aso Rock Villa, Abuja, less than 24 hours after his inauguration.
Telescope.ng gathered that after hosting a banquet for approximately 40 Heads of State at the Banquet Hall on Monday, May 29, President Tinubu officially resumed work on Tuesday, May 30.
At 2:38 pm, Tinubu’s motorcade pulled up at the forecourt of the Villa, where he was warmly received by prominent figures including Vice President Kashim Shettima, Speaker of the House of Representatives Femi Gbajabiamila, Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele, CEO of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited Mele Kyari, and the Permanent Secretary of the State House Tijjani Umar.
Also present were former Lagos state commissioner for finance, Wale Edun, Dele Alake, and Hon. James Faleke.
Prior to his entrance, the new Commander-in-Chief inspected the Quarter Guard at the presidential gate, symbolizing his assumption of command.
Following his first meeting in office, the president is expected to make official announcements regarding key principal officers of the new administration, which may include the Chief of Staff, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, National Security Adviser, and Spokesperson.
These appointments will play vital roles in the governance and communication of President Tinubu’s administration.
