Breaking: Labour starts indefinite strike Monday

Organized Labour announced it would commence an indefinite nationwide strike on Monday, June 3.
Labour leaders cited the federal government’s failure to finalize negotiations on a new national minimum wage and to reverse the increase in electricity tariffs as the reasons for the strike.
During a briefing, leaders of the NLC and TUC asked Nigerians for their understanding, stating, “We apologize for the inconvenience but remain committed to pursuing this cause to its conclusion.”
