Breaking: Aiyedatiwa sacks Akeredolu’s commissioners
Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo state finally sacked commissioners appointed by late Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.
The sacking of the Commissioners has been long awaited by loyalists of Aiyedatiwa.
Also sacked were all Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) and Special Assistants (SAs) appointed by Akeredolu.
A statement by Chief Press Secretary to Aiyedatiwa, Ebenezer Adeniyan, said the dissolved State Executive Council was with immediate effect.
It said All members of the cabinet were to immediately hand over to the Permanent Secretaries or the most senior administrative officers in their respective offices.
“All the affected officials are directed to hand over all government properties in their possession.
“The Governor thanks the affected officials for their services and contributions to the development of the State.”
