2023 presidency: You will be disgraced at APC primary, Reno Omokri tells Osinbajo
Reno Omokri, a former special assistant to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan on new media, has predicted the outcome of the forthcoming presidential primary of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Telescope.ng reports that Omokri, who is an unrepentant critic of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration, said the former governor of Lagos state, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, would win the primary in an open and transparent contest.
He, however, said that the vice president, Yemi Osinbajo, who is one of the presidential aspirants of APC and estranged godson of Tinubu, would face a brutal disgrace at the party’s primary.
According to him, Tinubu would emerge as the winner, then the second position would either be given to the former minister of transportation, Chibuike Amaechi, or Lawan Ahmed, the Senate president.
Omokri disclosed this in a tweet on Thursday, May 19, saying, “It will be Tinubu first, and Amaechi or Lawan second.” His only hope is a consensus candidacy. ”
He added that Osinbajo would neither come first nor second and that this would be disgraceful.
Omokri wrote: “I think by now it has dawned on Osinbajo that if the APC primaries are by direct democratic free and fair primaries, he will be disgraced! He won’t even come second. “
