My employees own houses abroad while I don't, Dangote reveals

Africa’s wealthiest individual, Aliko Dangote, has revealed that while some of his employees possess houses abroad for vacation purposes, he does not.

Telescope.ng gathered that during an interview with Business Insider Africa, which was recently published on the Tonyelumelufoundation’s verified Instagram account, Dangote provided advice on achieving success in the business arena.

He cautioned against a common tendency among Africans to spend their anticipated incomes once their businesses become profitable, instead of reinvesting the funds.

Dangote emphasized the importance of maintaining focus and adapting to the fluctuations inherent in business operations.

He advised against being lured by luxurious possessions saying that they can serve as distractions.

Dangote stated that he does not own any holiday homes or residences anywhere while acknowledging that some of his employees possess houses in London.

The billionaire also highlighted the need to avoid lavish expenditures and maintain concentration on business endeavours, rather than becoming preoccupied with material possessions.
